Date: Sunday, May 17

•  Setup starts at 4:00 PM. Home Run Derby begins around 4:30–5:00 PM and ends by 7:00 PM.

Location: Rye High School Softball Field

Price: $20 per plate appearance.

Pitching: Balls are thrown by a pitching machine.

Plate Appearance Rules: Each player gets 10 strikes per plate appearance. A strike is any swing attempt, ball put in play (including HRs), or called strike.

Equipment: Softball bats only.

Divisions:

• Varsity (~60 mph) – high school or adults
• Junior Varsity (~50 mph) – middle school
• Minors (~40 mph) – elementary school
  
  Players may move up a division, but not down.

Prizes: The player with the most home runs in each division wins a Dick’s Sporting Goods gift card (amount TBD).

Registration: Advance registration is preferred. Players can buy multiple plate appearances in advance or on the day of the event.
